Bloomsbury is delighted to announce the appointment of Stephen Page as an Independent Non Executive Director.
Stephen Page is the Chief Executive of Faber and Faber, a digitally innovative independent trade publisher of poetry, drama, children's books and other fiction and non-fiction literature. Stephen joined Faber and Faber in 2001 from Harper Collins Publishers where he was Sales and Marketing Director. He is a Council Member and former president of The Publishers Association and he is a Board member of Creative Skillset, the licensed Sector Skills Council supporting skills development and training in the UK for the entertainment media, publishing, advertising and other creative industries. Stephen Page was named in 2012 as the most inspiring digital publishing person at the FutureBook Innovation Awards.
Commenting on the appointment Jeremy Wilson, Chairman of Bloomsbury said, "The Board is delighted to welcome Stephen Page as an Independent Director. There are no further details to disclose in accordance with Listing Rule LR9.6.13R. The appointment of Stephen Page follows a comprehensive search process using an independent search firm.
