Dealing by Director

Bloomsbury Publishing Plc ('the Company') was notified on the 15 January 2010 that on that day Nigel Newton, a Director of the Company, sold 250,000 Ordinary Shares of 1.25p each in the Company at a price of £1.28 per share.

Following this sale, Mr Newton's total holding is 1,816,822 Ordinary Shares in the Company (2.47% of the total issued share capital).
